Madagascar

Marty the Zebra: The penguins are going, so why can't I?
Alex the Lion: Marty, the penguins are psychotic.

Julian: Shh! We're hiding. Be quiet everyone. That includes me. Shh! Who's making that noise? Oh, it's me again...

this is a very funny movie. at least, i think so. i think it's also the reason i've been saying phsychotic all the time lately.

Florida or the Moon

Two blondes living in Oklahoma were sitting on a bench one evening looking at the Moon and talking. One blonde says to the other, "Which do you think is further away, Florida or the Moon?"
The second blonde rolls her eyes, turns, and replies, "Hellooooooooo, can you see Florida from here?"

Duck Hunting in Texas

A big-city California lawyer went duck hunting in rural Texas. He shot and dropped a duck, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence from where the lawyer shot.

As the lawyer started to climb over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him just what the heck he thought he was doin'.

The lawyer responded, "I shot a duck and it fell into this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."

The old farmer replied, "You just hold on a dadburn minute. This is my property, and thar's no way yur comin' over that thar fence."

The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the U.S. and if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own!

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things down here in Texas. We settle small disagreements like this with the 'Texas Three-Kick' rule."

The lawyer asked, "What is the 'Texas Three-Kick Rule'?"

The farmer replied, "Well, first I kick you three times, and then you kick me three times, and so on, back and forth, 'till someone gives."

The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and ambled up to the city feller. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer's shins, causing him to hop on one foot. His second kick knocked the man right off his feet. With the lawyer flat on his back the farmer's third kick caused him to see stars.

The lawyer summoned every bit of his will, managed to get to his feet and said, "Okay, you old coot! Now it's my turn!"

The old farmer smiled and said,
"No way, mister, I give up. You can have the duck!"

ooooh yeah! i dare....

Seeing as how Nicole pretty much dared me to find an even better picture of Tom, and also it is quite late, I decided to post these. What do you think Nicole? He looks pretty hot, right? ...silly question, of course he does! ;) In the top one, he is showing how strong he (Superman) is, and in the bottom one he showing how much he loves farmers. (Who doesn't ?) :)

Feelin' Good

I love this song! You should all listen to it. The artist is Michael Buble. I think he usually does remakes of old songs, like this one. It's got a very Rat Pack look. He also the artist who sings "Home"., which I also LOVE You can see that one here also. They are both really good.

This poem was written while Josiah was having chemo. I know, it doesn't exactly rhyme. Even though he's better now, it still makes me cry.

written March 1, 2005
by me (Kayla)

It's the first day of March
And the grass is green
The flowers are blooming
And on the trampoline
Outside
There's three kids
One's my litle sister
Cute as she can be
One's my oldest brother
(Though he's younger than me)
But the last one makes me want to cry
Because I'm so, so happy inside
If you could see him you would understand
Because he's got no hair
Though he's only ten
And the stitches on his forehead
Are no accident
And it's only been three hours since the last time he went
To the hospital
For chemo
And to see him out there
Makes me want to cry
Because I'm so very happy inside
And I ask the Lord every night
Please....please let him be alright
And he is

my new sweetheart

We got another cocker spaniel on Wednesday. His name is Danny and he is such a sweetheart. He is two and a half years old. We are hoping that he and Honey will have puppies. I don't have any pictures of him yet, but I found one on the internet that kinda looks like him:

He is much cuter than this dog and he has tan eyebrows. He is also a little curlier on top.

.............things

I was listening to my little sister and cousins. They all agree that if there were no boys in this world, they would paint the sky pink.

I feel extremely sorry for anyone who has never been to Disneyland. Especially with their best friends.

Sometimes I get very tired of Erica and Phil. Until I get to sing them to sleep. That night light really shows their good side.

I really enjoy baking things. As long as people smile when they taste it.

Very often I find myself thinking," How could it get any better than this?"

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like without Oreos. ........................Nope, I just can't picture it.

yeah, umm, well.....

Today, I tried Oreos dipped in " cool, refreshing Mountain Dew." As an Oreo expert, I will tell you that while it wasn't the worst thing I've ever tasted, it DEFINATELY is not a good way to eat Oreos. Because the Mountain Dew is SO sweet, it kind of kills the taste of the Oreo all together. Milk is DEFINATELY, INFINATELY better. (spoken like the true farm girl that I am) But by all means, try it for yourself....if you dare.
