Do you ever just sit back for a minute and think about your life and wonder, "How can this be happening to me?" Not because you're sad or angry, but because everything is so good, and you feel so blessed. Because you know you don't deserve it. You don't deserve your wonderful family, your amazing friends, all who love you. And there are so many other blessings. Most of all, the peace that you have, knowing that even when things aren't going like you planned, "All things work together for good." God knows what's best, and no matter what, that's what's going to happen -what's best. Whatever trial you have, it makes you stronger, and more patient. So even the bad things are actually for your benefit. Life is beautiful when you walk with your Saviour, because even death is conquered, and now "Whom shall I fear?" How dark and cold this world must be to those who don't have that peace. How thankful I am that I have been given this gift of grace, my faith. It's the only thing that really makes life worth living, isn't it?

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,

Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
