"Owl," said Pooh, "I have thought of something."
"Astute and Helpful Bear," said Owl.
Pooh looked proud at being called a stout and helpful bear, and said modestly that he just happened to think of it.

"Eeyore," he said solemly, "I, Winnie-the-Pooh, will find your tail for you.""Thank you, Pooh," answered Eeyore. "You're a real friend," said he. "Not Like Some," he said.

And then he gave a long sigh and said, "I wish Pooh were here. It's so much more friendly with two." ~Piglet

Half-way between Pooh's house and Piglet's house was a Thoughtful Spot where they met sometimes when they had decided to go and see each other, and as it was warm and out of the wind they would sit down there for a little and wonder what they would do now that they had seen each other.

"When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's goint to happpen exciting to-day?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully.
"It's the same thing," he said.
